The Club's senior section won the Jack Deeble Trophy for the first time. After winning their pool the team defeated Wooler by 3 matches to nil in the semi-final and then overcame Longhirst by 21/2 to 1/2 over the Alnwick Castle course. The photo shows the final team of Alistair MacKay, Tim Capron, Karl Dullaghan, John Glass, Ken Park and Ian Thomson. Les Graves, Michael Lucas and Tony Walton also represented the Club in one or more matches.
